This trade once again highlights DDD deficiencies with managing draft assets of this organization:
He pays a 3rd, 4th, 5th for an OA.
He trades a quality OA player for a 3rd.

We needed NVV. Our D is quite weak.

DDD has made a lot of questionable moves. I actually don't count these in that mix.

Can we give this talking point a rest yet. We have a pretty good team and it was built by trades and drafts.

If we were still at the bottom of the standings it would make sense to bash DDD some more. Times have changed. We have a good team. Enjoy it.

NVV has NOT been very good at all and has not helped the current situation of our weak D core. And Not good enough to justify trading your team’s leading goal scorer last year for (and a trade that’s net result is another loss in picks and one of your best F.

As soon as he stops making OA trades for a loss is when we should stop recognizing them. Ignoring it doesn’t mean it didn't happen.
