Now they’re excuses Earlier you called them valid points which one is it? Friday will probably be a bigger crowd partly because of football partly because they just beavthe best team in the league (B on my list) and are still undefeated and if we’re looking ahead probably still should be after next weekend being a Friday night helps as well sunday vs football is a bad idea yes but we know he only really cares about “getting home at a reasonable time “ or whatever he said in his that article when they made the switch if he truly cared about the attendance he would’ve made the switch to Saturday afternoons till football ends then go to Sundays or get rid of Thursdays and go mostly Friday/saturday night
My mistake "reasons".

A discussion refocus because it sometimes gets lost and moved in different direction when contributors include information not directly to the primary point of the discussion. You've answered this in your post above, this is moreso for the others who have opinions on Saturday Night vs Sunday Afternoon.

Primary point of the discussion:
Will Sunday afternoon (vs the NFL) draw larger crowds than Saturday night?

Would be sad for number 27 as no one really has room for an OA and import taking up and we need him. He’s great.

Great defensive player and awesome on the draws along with his offence

Friday and Saturday crowds will still be better during football season but I think it won’t be a huge difference IMO maybe 3500-3750

You are going to need a bigger sample that two games to draw a conclusion.

Lets see what happens this season before we start calling it a failed experiment, deal?

Friday looks like more tickets sold than yesterday already. Only because there are some big group sales. I see big blocks of tickets gone. They might get to 4000 or close to it on Friday.

Groups will definitely help a lot I think they only had 2 yesterday

Talked to someone in the biz lastnight who said NVV is the last of the OA's that should be moved based on Niagara's need for defense experience and toughness.

Said they should keep all 4 as long as possible, move one of Loskho or Flores closer to the deadline for picks for next year.
So the undrafted Bryant is better than Loshko, who was drafted in the 4th round of the NHL draft? At this point, I think Bryant is the odd man out, as sad as that is.

Personally I’m not a football fan so I don’t care but I know at least 5 people who are very upset with the Sunday games while the NFL is on. One person told me he is dropping his season tickets next season.

People keep saying Sunday afternoons are better than Thursdays. But last season their main home nights were Thursday and Saturday and this year it’s Thursdays and Sundays. Their still playing the Thursday night games.

Thursdays have the second most games by I think 1 game (8) Fridays they have (7) if I counted correctly if it’s me my days would be Friday-Sunday eliminate Thursdays as much as possible and have the weekend games start at 1-2

If it was Loshko going it wouldn’t be because Bryant is better he’s the captain and they’re doing a ticket thing with him and like it or not that’s probably a factor oh and Loshko would probably get you more in a return

Everyone is looking at what will happen regarding attendance. When the team was good Thursday and Saturday worked very well with many sellouts. When the team started its decline, attendance was also good averaging in the high 3,000's low 4,000's. The answer to getting good attendance is win baby win!

The team has sacrificed captains before, that means absolutely nothing

Absolutely.

There are lots of former STH's who paid good money for two years to sit there and see the Dogs get blown out 10 to 1 too many times. Wanting to leave after the first period. Feeling they wasted their money and their time.
...and stupid trades between games, zero accountability, yet another scandal, petty cost-cutting measures and the overall dilution of the fan experience.
