Excited for the games this weekend.

Regardless of what the results may end up being, there are a lot of exciting players to watch on this team. It started in the back half of last year as Roobroeck and He found their confidence. Loshko, Wassilyn, Czata and Crete are only adding to the fun.

Owen Sound exploded for four goals in period two to erase a 3 to 1 deficit and went on to beat Niagara 6 to 4 before 3,528 fans at tge Merdian Centre. Smith with he hat trick for OwenSound plus two goals for Crawford.Robrook scored twice for the Icedogs He and Losheko also scoring .. Next game tomorrow night against North Bay at home.

Icedogs shade North Bay 7 to 5 tonight. Two goals by Assadourian and Loshko paced the Dogs before 3,010 fans at the Meridian Centre. Next game Thursday night against Ottawa at home.

even though they got 7 tonight they need to get better at shooting the puck I can’t tell you how many times tonight they had a 2-3 man run got into the zone and instead of getting a shot off they would stop up at the blue line or the circle and just wait for EVERYBODY to get in the zone and not get anything because of it (and it probably happened last night to but I didn’t pay attention to it as much)

Poor attendance figures (and actual attendance) across the board is reason for Niagara to be concerned and the much bigger issue at the moment. This fan base is disappearing fast! “Niagara is sinking, man, and no one wants to swim”

Actual attendance: approx 1800- 2000.

Friday Attendance: 3568
Actual Attendance: 2000-2200
