Help me make sense of this... I live in Sault Ste Marie and on the same night with a TSN and Sportsnet subscription I cant watch Ottawa or Winnipeg? What on earth is that a restriction for?
Tuesday is a regional night, not a National night.
You live in the leafs regional zone.
So blackout was working as designed

You would need the out of market package to see those games.
So centre Ice if with Bell. or Sportsnet premium+ or whatever they call it, if with Roger’s.

Well, I am getting tired of this... Screw this made up geographical nonsense. I will not pay $70 a month in Sweden to see the games. I am however willing to pay around $20 a month.

I am able to get games on the computer and tablet, but not casting or getting it to work on the Shield as I want to watch on the TV.

Sportsnet worked with Canadian VPN and Chromecast. The problem was that the quality is really poor and it takes half a period before it switches to decent.

NHL.tv workds great other than it is impossible to use Chromecast. I only get the nhl.tv logo on the Shield when using Chromecast.

It's amazing that they are only using 720p (hello 4k?) these days as well as hindering supporters willing to pay a decent amount of money for their product. Time to wake up soon?

Any ideas? Time to test ESPN next?

It's a little frustrating that i'm paying good money to watch games with my CI , but i can't watch any games that are on prime .... I do get games on my , CI when they are streaming on espn +
Are you in Canada or the US?

In both countries, the NHL out-of-market package does not include nationally broadcast games. But the definition of national broadcast differs between the two countries.

In the US, exclusive games on the ESPN platforms, all TNT games, and all NHL Network games are national games. They will not be included in the US NHL out-of-market package.

In Canada, games broadcast nationally on Sportsnet and games on Prime are national games. They will not be included in the Canadian NHL out-of-market package.

2 different countries, 2 different out-of-market packages.

Since you are claiming that you get ESPN+ games on your CI pack, age, I am assuming that you are in Canada. ESPN+ games would be excluded from tje Camadian out-of-market package if it was also being broadcst nationally by Sportsnet or Prime.

ESPN+ location finder is awful. For some reason it is blacking me out from Avs-Sabres even though I’m in Miami. Previously it was blacking me out from the NYC area teams.

Anyone else getting this issue lately on SN+?

Watching a game and it streams fine during play but every ad break it gets hung up on the last commercial.....the video freezes but the audio doesn't, so you can hear the game but the video feed is locked. Keep having to back out of the stream to correct it. :help:

Yes , that happens a lot when using Apple TV . Not sure the issue is fixable so I always anticipate it happening.

ESPN Plus is easily one of the best purchases I’ve made this year. Since I’m not subject to blackout rules living in Atlanta, I can watch every game scheduled each night except for those games on the NHLnetwork or TNT (I have YouTube TV for that).

Plus it’s a nice collection of college hockey games from the start of the season up until now

ESPN's multi-cast feature is broken. When you get into a game it doesn't give you an option of what broadcast you want and they are listing each game twice (Probably different broadcasts) and don't differentiate which broadcast is which.

Been enjoying the games on Disney+ as a Canadian in the US. They have TSN/Sportsnet coverage which is always nice to see. Usually have 3-4 games/day
