Don't think so! The Habs already have 8 defenceman signed to one-way contracts. However, there could be some space for him on St. John's top 4.

Wild add players from their Rookie Camp to their main camp

The Minnesota Wild announced that 60 players have been invited to Wild training camp that starts on Friday, Sept. 23 at 9:30 a.m. at Xcel Energy Center. The following players from the Minnesota Wild team that competed in the 2016 NHL Prospects Tournament in Traverse, City, Mich., have been invited to training camp:

Forward: Sam Anas, Christoph Bertschy, Parker Bowles, Joel Eriksson Ek, Adam Gilmour, Keegan Iverson, Pavel Jenys, Chase Lang, Mario Lucia, Alex Petan, Nick Saracino, Dmitry Sokolov and Alex Tuch.

Defensemen: Gustav Bouramman, Braydyn Chizen, Gustav Olofsson, Nick Seeler, Hunter Warner and Nolan Zajac.

Goaltenders: Steve Michalek and Adam Vay.

The team also announced today it has signed forward Colton Beck to a professional tryout contract (PTO) and released forwards Cody Bradley, Tanner Jeannot and Zach Schroeder and defenseman Blake Heinrich from their amateur tryouts.

Sad about Jeannot. He was one of my favourite prospects to watch down the stretch of the WHL season last year.

Maybe the Radulov connection coming in to play.

Lots of interest in him half a decade ago. Probably should have tried to come over back then.

Classic case of a guy who'd make more in the KHL instead of NA.

He did come over half a decade ago but he was low on the Bruins depth chart.

Low cap growth making caps tighter for most (along with continuing salary inflation that will likely lead to another lockout...), and the World Cup leaving more rosters uncertain/teams needing to sign PTOs to get to the minimum vet limit for preseason

So, both the Oilers and Leafs announced how big their training camp rosters were (61 and 79 players, respectively) but neither actually released a roster as far as I can tell.
