Let's shame the remaining four teams yet to announce rookie rosters...

Shame Bruins!
Shame Flames!
Shame Oilers!

Pretty sure you've done this in years past, and it's worked. Considering training camps are only a week away, I'm glad I have no plans tonight 'cause I think caley is about to open the floodgates.

Quite surprised to see Kravchenko forfeit two more years of college, where he was likely to be top line, for a rookie tournament...

Does he actually forfeit those 2 years by attending a rookie tournament. Serious question. I do not know the official answer.

If so one would think he either almost has a guarantee of at least an ahl deal or something across the pond, no?

Or can he just enroll at another NCAA program after this season and continue on?

My understanding is Rookie Camps count as pro experience and therefore he forfeits his NCAA eligibility, at Amherst or elsewhere. (Summer development camps do not count, and regular training camps do count.)

Maybe he's paying it all on his own dime, lodging, food, travel, insurance and the NCAA is allowing it, but that's not exactly common.

Guess we'll see!

Thanks. Is he any good? Guess I'll try and pay a little extra attention to anything about him posted here. Seems really odd. I'm pretty sure I'd want to finish that education which I guess he can still do it but if this in any way screws up those 2 years he has if he goes to another school regardless of the hockey, like if the 2 years weren't recognized or something and he had to redo them that would be idiotic.

Must not have been on a full hockey scholarship or there would be financial repercussions for him doing this I would imagine.

His schooling will still stand at Mass Amherst. In fact, changing schools would likely be more of an issue, credits wise, as different school programs will often honour only some credits from another school.

As it stands though, he is NOT on UMass' official roster for this year...
