I am prepared to trade Cozens if it brings back either a 1C or a 1-2 RHD defenceman. Unfortunately those trades are usually done in the off season so Adams gets to kick the can down the road.

I would rather Adams do nothing and the new experienced GM makes the moves when Adams gets fired.

But when reality sets in there is a very good chance Adams is still the GM in the summer. Whats our choices here?

Improve the team as much as possible no matter who the GM is or who the GM might be.

Yeah Hamilton consistently reports his own feelings as facts because he’s been covering the team for forever but doesn’t have any actual sources or connections.

I’m not expecting much. Adams ability to get anything done is one reason. But also the types of players we need aren’t usually available at this time. Unless they’re pending UFAs moved as playoff rentals. Which is not something we would or should be targeting.

Dregs On Sabres Live this morning:
- KA is grinding away on extending Zucker, there is trade interest as well.
- A lot teams valued Greenways skill set
- re: Cozens, Byram, Peterka, Tuch unless someone blows Adams socks off why would you trade those pieces. Doesn't get the sense they are close on moving any of those players. Change of scenery trades can help.
- Not seeing anything on Power (and Samuellsson) mentioned Brisson is the agent and he has not picked up on anything
- Implied some trades take months to materialize.
- Buffalo needs rostered players in return
