How did things shift from Cozens to Tuch/JJ the last week ? :skeptic::huh:

Saying that, I'm not against trading ANYONE on this team that's not #26 as long as the value coming back is fair.

I personally do so love the conversation that goes something like this:

Fan of team that supposedly wants one of the Sabres: hey cool you’re trading that guy.

Sabre fan: no, the report is that your team is asking about that players’s availability or that they really would like that particular player.

Fan of team reportedly interested in Sabres player: you should accept this really shitty lowball offer because you’ll never be good. We don’t care what it is that you actually might think your team needs, this is all we can logically afford and we’re actually completely obsessed with our top two or three prospects even if they’re Jack shit.

Sabres fan: the report is that your team is interested. Do you have anything that the Sabres might need? (Insert name of NHL player that would fulfill a need on the current team.)

Fan of team interested in Sabre player:Waaaaa?!? You’re not getting that player. Here’s another offer that is absolute f***ing dog shit.

Sabres fan: well I guess there’s not really any point in discussing this.

Fan of other team: despite not understanding anything about what might actually be required, I’m just gonna make platitudes about how bad your team is/players are.

Sabres fan: OK. Moving on.

That’s usually where it sort of gets derailed by either a fan of another team coming in and having something mildly worthwhile to interject into the back-and-forth or somebody arrives to offer Kirby Dach and a second round draft pick.

Holy crap that Tuch thread on the main board.

That thread is absolutely something else.

"Buffalo hasn't said no to trading Tuch because some Twitter rando said that Tampa is still calling about him"

That's some........interesting.......logic

This has the same energy as some guy in HS saying he's still got a chance because the girl he's calling who hasn't answered the phone hasn't actually said no.
