Trading a talented young player like Tomasino for basically nothing was a truly awful move. And that's before you account for Nashville being one of the oldest rosters in the NHL.

[Tomasino has 4 points in 5 games since the trade]

I have to admit though that I'm stunned at how bad Nashville has been. I figured the moves would blow up in their face, but I thought they would improve THIS season and regress later on.

Honestly I think most people were the correct level of skeptical on the offseason adds. Where I think the real miss was (myself included!) is thinking that the base from last year was any good to build off of. It really was Forsberg, Josi, Saros, and a bunch of nobodies. Gus Nyquist had 75 points at 34 years old! Colton Sissons was their 4th most utilized forward!

Holy f*** do you guys move the goalposts. I didn't say he was tough, I didn't say it wasn't a chickenshit move, I didn't say i liked it. I only said it wasn't the move of a soft player. Chickenshit isn't the same as buttery soft. Jeff f***ing Schultz was buttery soft, my only point was that the kid has some push back.

Michkov is a little kid (with a little kids brain), playing an adults sport.

Ignoring the label on his chest (Flyers), he deserves some time to understand all that he’s trying to take on.

New Country, New language, new customs, new people, new cities, new neighbors, new league, new teammates, new…..everything??

Give the little man, a little time. Anything else looks like a Hater, IMO (and I hate the Flyers, but it’s not the same).

Hiding and punching behind a ref isn’t kinda soft lol?

grabbing the refs whistle was the manliest thing he did. You submitted video…you should have known it wouldn’t hold up under HF’s cross examination. 😉

Nobody is proclaiming him forever lost…..

Like we all realize he can learn and grow into more than a one dimensional player.


Besides that….f him and his wanna be Flyer schtick. I hope he fails miserably in that aspect of it. I hope he never learns English, he never learns our customs, he gets lost every time he goes out, and that his neighbors are loud and prevent him from getting any sleep, etc! 😂

I guess I just don't call a scrum starting, and ref jumping in the middle while someone is in the process of throwing a punch, "hiding and punching behind a ref". If throwing a punch while a ref is in-between two players is your definition of "buttery soft", then there are a ton of soft players in the league, including Xhekaj.

It could easily go one of 3 ways. They are the same, which is great, or one is abjectly better than the other. Which may not be great at all.

Maybe Lavi should be worried. Rongos just took an L to Chicago. Very careless, listless hockey they're playing. Not exactly shocking after all of the distractions lately I guess. Can't unring that bell.

He f***ing sucks. He might not have always sucked, and that first year is… alright, but it’s because nobody figured out he sucks yet and once that starts it’s all downhill
