The real surprise is that Gritty is also Super President of Hockey Ops, First Class.

(I just learned the other day that Briere's AGM is also the VP and the stupidity of that chain of command tickles me)
 
Poho can be a senior gm role or just a pr role. It depends on the team and the person. I don't think it really matters.

What's more concerning for the flyers is they named Briere full time gm but I don't think he's done anything to even imply or even insinuate he'd be good at it?

I've enjoyed watching the Leafs flame out these past few years as much as anyone.

But I think they've had enough. I'd be ok with them winning next year or sometime soon.

This year was particularly bad, finally breaking through against Tampa only to lose so badly to the underdog Cats. That's gotta hurt.

Chicago sacking up and winning that game set the stage for the whole playoffs and they got rewarded with Bedard

Similar to the Oilers getting Connor McDavid after finishing third overall and not engaging in the downright embarrassing tanking piss contest that Arizona and Buffalo had going on that year

If you are going to write complete fiction then why just settle for this, why not say Bowman is unretiring to coach the rags.

Not saying what he wrote is completely impossible, just saying at this point its just imagination running wild.

Some of it is and some of it isn't. He brings up a valid point regarding this disparity in the punishments meted out by the NHL against the New Jersey and Arizona franchises versus that of the Chicago Blackhawks.
 
Really sucks for the Coyotes. If it was the Suns I think it would have been fine but the press around the Coyotes has been so bad for so long that you wonder if the hole is too deep to climb out of and the PR battle has been lost. As someone who watched their team relocate I feel for their fans.
 
Friedman on the 32T podcast thinks Lavi's got a decent shot at either the CBJ or NYR job.
