Isn't Wahlstrom more of a sniper than a powerforward?

At this point he's neither.

The possibility of him becoming a 3rd liner capable of scoring 15 while being able to play a physical game is still there.

The possibility of his excellent shot resulting in a 2nd or 1st line sniping forward isn't there. Like hundreds of others in hockey history there were glimpses, hope amongst the fanbase that just got shattered with reality.

Never seen him play. What about him? Who does he compare to? What's his ceiling?
His brother but meaner and without the wheels. Ceiling is probably third line guy that can get 30 points. Dakota Joshua kinda

a power forward doesn't have to play on the wing. even better if you find a center with a power game.
I feel like an integral part of being a power forward is being a menace in front of the net which just doesn't really translate to the center position

Still doesn't change Knies is more proven which is what I said. I also don't know how he plays I've never watched him. Is he just a young guy with a bit of snarl or a powerforward like Knies
They both have 103 NHL games.

Cuylle is Mario Lemieux reincarnated.

In all seriousness, he's a little like a Mark Stone. Not saying he ever reaches that level. His puck skills, passing, and a little bit skating are the weakest parts of his game because he's great defensively, great in board battles, good goal scorer, hits a lot, can fight, and plays chippy. An absolute dream player to have on your team.

I fully expected this thread to be packed with Leafs fans gushing about Knies because at least in this case, it's kinda warranted. Too bad he got hurt because he was really breaking out.
