Seems about right! I love how Ottawa is stuck in the middle of no man’s land.
They're a great example of how things can go wrong when you try to accelerate a rebuild too quickly, the Debrincat trade might have singlehandedly spoiled their entire chance to get out of the basement

They traded the #7 pick in the draft for a 25 year old winger who didn't want to be on their team and got one year and 66 points our of him before they had to flip him to a playoff-bubble team for a pick that will surely be later than 7th, I'm sure they would rather have Kevin Korchinski right now instead of the leftovers from that ill-advised asset flip

Kings did a lot of the same stuff in recent years which is nothing short of lovely, their window closed before it was even fully open... or in the view. :laugh:
