The idea that Dustin Brown is a 1st ballot HOF is f***ing ridiculous based on his play on the ice

Even his unique accomplishments are spurious to that effect; the 2nd American captain to win the cup? The only American captain with multiple cups? Wholly undeserving

Jersey retirement? Statue? Makes total sense, he's a legend to that franchise, but he scored 712 points in 1296 games over 18 seasons, he's going to be the next guy everyone points to as the low standard set by the Hockey Hall of Fame for years to come, the committee f***ed this up bad

Isn't this the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame, not the Hockey Hall of Fame? There should be a lower standard for admission.
I still say someone should make, for example, paper mache, a statue that has a player in a vulnerable pose attached to the Brown statue (temporarily) with his leg being smashed, with the face of it with wide eyes and expressing terrible pain and Photographed for Posterity, showing Brown's Real Legacy.

P.S. Haven't seen Brown's statue to know if it is a hockey pose in uniform, just figuring that would be the pose used for a statue of that goon/enforcer.
