Russian Hockey Federation has signed an agreement with UAE Winter Sports Federation about developing of hockey in UAE.
You mean BETmanBettman wants the oil money…
You can tell people who only read the subject line and not the post itself. This isn’t from the NHL. And the NHL isn’t going to be involved in any initiative the KHL is involved with.
Already getting it from Calgary Edmonton and DallasBettman wants the oil money…
Looks like it is from NHLYou can tell people who only read the subject line and not the post itself. This isn’t from the NHL. And the NHL isn’t going to be involved in any initiative the KHL is involved with.
This isn't a good place for that. Your average Dubai resident isn't a native Emirati. It's meant to appeal to a bunch of wealthy expats and bored oil barons with more money than sense.I dont see why not, it's an opportunity to grow the game.

Because UAE is a country that runs on slavery and is funding multiple genocides.I dont see why not, it's an opportunity to grow the game.
The NHL was going into China until COVID happened. Now their own KHL team doesn't even play in Beijing anymore, even though their policy has long since been rescinded. Generally, the CCP government has been making less of a play in expanding their domestic team sports infrastructure, it's why their clubs barely make a splash in the Asian soccer cups these days. So I think it's a mutual disinterest. They should do it imo, KHL knows there's money there, NHL still hasn't properly tried to go after the Chinese market they can at least go for this.
You can also really tell who's following the usual legacy western media brainwashing here.
