I shouldn't be upset because I had no expectations for them. I was sure they'd be swept. They were awful the last half of the year. They got shut out for the fourth time in six games and played like shit in game 1. Then they won game 2 and pulled off a miracle comeback in the last two minutes of game 3. Those bastards sucked me back in against all reason!

Then they went back to playing like shit and lost in OT.

If you thought the Flyers' 4th line was bad, here is the 4th line illustrious hockey mind and proud Masshole Scott Allen rolled out for Hershey each of this series' three games:

LW Eddie Wittchow: let's clear things up here: Eddie is not a forward. He is a "stay at home" defenseman who spent almost every game he played this year save for one or two at forward. He has hands of stone, chases hits like a chicken with its head cut off, and has the discipline of a toddler. The game before Thanksgiving he had 8 PIMs. None were coincidental roughing minors or anything like that, he straight up took four separate minors in the same game and somehow did not find himself in the press box the next game. He played at least 45 games at forward this year with 1 goal to show for it.

C Drake Rymsha: Drake had 1 goal in 49 games this year. He has 2 goals in 87 career AHL games. You might be sending a pattern here. He's adequate enough defensively but not enough to make up for his lack of offense or the two boat anchors on his wings.

RW Kale Kessy: Kessy is a straight up enforcer dressing a regular shift in the playoffs in 2022. I'm not sure much more needs to be said. Marginally, MARGINALLY justified in that WBS also dressed their enforcer (yes, they have one too) all three games. Somehow he scored the most goals this year of the three players on the line, potting 4 in 51 games.

They were on the ice for one Bears goal this series but believe it or not, spent more time hemmed into their own zone when they were on the ice.
