NHL Mega Mock DRAFT Reboot Discussion DRAFT Thread Its Late but Its Gr8 to Start Phase 28

Not sure what futureheads have or haven't been picked because of the board meltdown, so please excuse me if this guy has already been selected, but NJFZ will go with Anton Silayev, who apparently is 6'7" but mobile enough to get a "unicorn" tag per my very limited Google search just now.

@Captain Dave Poulin - if Silayev was already taken, please switch my pick to whoever was the next highest 2024 draftee. Otherwise, get your pick on.

He actually has been taken, so please go again when you have the time.

I stay out of the Obsequious Thread, so it's going here.

Steve Albini's stuff is slowly being put up for sale. All proceeds go directly to his wife, so I grabbed some things already and will keep watching.

Very excited for the books and weirder stuff to start hitting, but in the meantime I grabbed some Sonic Youth, John Cale, and Cramps vinyl. Prices are completely reasonable.

I just posted a banger in the obsequious thread though

What do you all say we get this show back on the f***ing road?

For Foreign Film, the FOG select the French film LA HAINE (1995)

This was a formative film for me when I was still an impressionable teenager.

A brief synopsis: "When a young Arab is arrested and beaten unconscious by police, a riot erupts in the notoriously violent suburbs outside of Paris. Three of the victim's peers, Vinz (Vincent Cassel), Said (Said Taghmaoui) and Hubert (Hubert Koundé), wander aimlessly about their home turf in the aftermath of the violence as they try to come to grips with their outrage over the brutal incident. After one of the men finds a police officer's discarded weapon, their night seems poised to take a bleak turn."
