Hindsight is usually 20/20.

I saw him skate during the playoff's via Evan's video clips. He clearly wasn't ready. So the medical experts prognosis of a playoffs/2nd round return were highly optimistic.

My question is what is his summer training regimen in order to be ready for the 2024-25 season? Is he currently skating some where under someone's tutelage?
Well the prognosis was always 12-16 months. Lonzo Ball has just recently been cleared for full basketball activities, no limitations, at 16 months.

So I'm expecting Landy is a full go come training camp if all goes well.

In 2022 that discussion would have been insanity.

In September of 2024, it’s not.

I respect Landeskog as much as any Avs fan, anywhere.

But this upcoming season, it’s time to bring this to a conclusion: either he can effectively play NHL hockey, or he can’t.

It’s time
Honestly it should be by Jan 1. If he isn't playing full time by then, he needs to LTIR retire. We really can't afford to play the maybe game the whole season, again.

And at that point it should be pretty obvious if he can do it or not.

What are UPL's arb numbers look like? Could be an interesting move from a cap perspective of UPL would come in at a lower caphit than Georgiev.

I'd do that in a flash
Obviously, but I don't see why Buffalo would be doing this other than the fact that they fear UPL might get a heavy paycheck from arbitration. Georgiev would be cost controlled this year.

Georgiev + Colton (if he would waive for Buffalo lol) to UPL + McLeod.
