Dumb question because maybe it was talked about by the talking heads that I tune out.

What do they mean by last in-person draft? Is it going to be a zoom call next year or something?
It's going to be a remote draft (the teams won't be there in person).

I've wondered this for a couple of years now.

Is it a waste of my time updating the 1st post of these draft GDTs with the pick info, or is it useful to people?

I expected Buium to go top 10, for some reason he didn't. Nice and lucky pick by the Wild.

The Ducks did their homework on Solberg, traded up to get him. I hope he won't hurt any Wild players.

I'll probably look at each team's draft soon but ended up looking at Carolina's because they drafted a few the Europeans I liked. A bit jealous of their day 2 even if I am not a fan of Poirier (or their 7th rounder I did not include).

5 Russians? Poirier is fine as a 5th round lottery ticket

Yep. I liked three of them a lot, and then the two Swedes. You're probably right regarding Poirier since they had the picks...just don't think he has the skating needed by a small guy to make it.

San Jose, not even considering Macklin, was sneaky good, imo.

Will join Rossi in summer training, get mentored by Zucc after practice and come back next year as a beast.

Picking in the 4th, we are talking about the longest of long shots. Everyone will have some fault to their profile, whether it's size, talent, health, character. I'm fine with this pick. Sounds like the guy has talent - actually remember quite a bit if buzz about him - but has just had some setbacks. Could be a steal, plus we need some Finns back here to keep guys like @Sweetnut in line, and the Russians, too, when Yurov comes over.
Nice try, but I love our brothers and sisters from the land of the lakes. Had a few girlfriends from there too. And they have so many great players, so I'm all for it.
