Eventually not having good, cheap, young talent is going to come back to bite this team on the ass.I don't.
But that's later. So who cares, right?

You really think the magic bean is more important?Eventually not having good, cheap, young talent is going to come back to bite this team on the ass.

Exactly lol
God, under $3million would be excellent.
Bottom line is in a cap league a steady stream of players on ELC’s are just as important to compete as proven vet’s and to diminish the importance of having a viable prospect pool is short sighted. You really think the magic bean is more important?
You and I have agreed on a lot... but I gotta break with you here...I'm really missing the old coverage. I'd even take Pierre. At least there was the pretense of speaking with a purpose instead of just blabbing to fill space. Ugh.
This honestly has been the worst coverage. It’s bad. Pierre Button and McKenzie were actually goodI'm really missing the old coverage. I'd even take Pierre. At least there was the pretense of speaking with a purpose instead of just blabbing to fill space. Ugh.
She’s horribleGod I hate hearing these dopeys. God why must Kaplan keep talking WHO ASKED FOR THIS
They got MooreLove Barlow. Legit sniper.
Interested to see the road Chicago goes. Do you go Moore for an eventual number 2 Center behind Bedard or do you go Perrealt who can be a number one wingerwith the Bedard
Kid is so skilled and smooth. They got Moore
Chicago got a nice steal
We’re 29 away from our pick. It’s going to take some luck for a guy in the late first/early 2nd range to fall. Hopefully it happens and we make the right pick. What sucks is that we have to deal with this stupid broadcast instead of TNT
Btw I hope some of these guys keep slipping.
How do you think it ends ? Every year , do you think you can trade a 1st for an established player that makes established $$ ? When do you think you run out of cap space ?You really think the magic bean is more important?
i think that trading a 1st for a proven player works more often than not
The key is balance. With a cap you have to balance high money guys with low money guys. If you draft right you can get guys on elcs and bridge deals mixed in.How do you think it ends ? Yep. I feel this logic to 1sts. If we can get someone for our playoff run for that, i'm all for it.The key is balance. With a cap you have to balance high money guys with low money guys. If you draft right you can get guys on elcs and bridge deals mixed in.
For me , I don’t mind taking the sure thing of it makes Sense. Horvat is the real deal. No regrets about the Horvat trade.
Stramel was once considered a top10 talent for this draft but had falling off. Many believed he could even slip to the third round.Yep. I feel this logic to 1sts. If we can get someone for our playoff run for that, i'm all for it.
Strammel to the Wild
Way too many off the board picks.
That’s my point, you need the balance. You can’t keep shipping firsts unless you are masterful at getting late round gems and to date we haven’tThe key is balance.
