Bottom line is in a cap league a steady stream of players on ELC’s are just as important to compete as proven vet’s and to diminish the importance of having a viable prospect pool is short sighted.

The key is balance. With a cap you have to balance high money guys with low money guys. If you draft right you can get guys on elcs and bridge deals mixed in.

For me , I don’t mind taking the sure thing of it makes Sense. Horvat is the real deal. No regrets about the Horvat trade.

Stramel was once considered a top10 talent for this draft but had falling off. Many believed he could even slip to the third round.

The upside is there, but I would have it in hand in the second round with some other guys left on the board
