I'm so tempted to do game center live but the blackouts for the Rangers are absurd. Can't get games on NBC or NHLN, which is almost half the games from just glancing at the schedule.

Ugh will the PS3 app come out before the game? Will I be able to play it through the internet browser option of the ps3?

I don't think it will be able before the game...
I just looked at the PS3 store and found nothing.
SHould be possible for you to stream through browser option but - if you are able to use a laptop to stream I would just connect the laptop through HDMI to your TV and watch it this way..
I made that last season and was the best option for me, as the notebook streaming had a much better video quality as on PS3 (and sound quality too!)

I would like to use this thread to complain that I have no way of watching Ranger games at home.
Where I live (heavily wooded) I am unable to get satellite, and Uverse is not here yet. All I can get is comcast.
Comcast does not carry MSG or MSGHD where I am in CT.
But NHL Live Game says I am in the local market so all games they broadcast will be blacked out.
So really I am stuck streaming games illegally online. I would much prefer to watch games in HD and legally. But what other choice do I have apart from moving.

I've had GCL last year - was really good .

That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure! Another great thing about it is the fact that I can watch full games on the next day. Because I certainly won't be able to stay up until 3:30 AM every game night.
I'm excited about the GCL app on the xbox. Sounds like its working good, cant wait to try it. I didn't want to have to buy another apple tv.

Could somebody please clarify as I have the mental capacity of a chimp, when it says up to 40 games a week- will I not be able to watch games after I've loaded 40? If so, how does it count the games I've watched- will just switching to it register as a game watched?

I am 90% sure there is no limit on how much you can watch. They just advertise "up to 40 out of market games a week" because that is the most that will ever be played in one week.
Hey can you guys give me some info on the xbox app? I just downloaded, I'm very tech savvy, when I go to sign it keeps coming up with error message that it cannot connect right now. Is anyone else having this problem? I have an apple router and everything else is working in my house so I know it's not that.
there is no limit to how many games you can watch, that is simply the number of games they will be broadcasting..'up to 40 games per week' means that some weeks you'll get 5-6 games a night that are available...some weeks you might get less. but you can watch everything they are...

Anybody figure out how to get the multi-game mosaic view going yet?
Every time I click a different mosaic tile then select a game from the score sreen, it just goes to the written game preview of the game selected.
Hopefully it's working in time for the Rangers game!

Ya Center Ice for Verizon Fios is showing Jets/Sens in HD, but I don't understand why they are not also showing LA/Chi?
There are 10+ channels listed as NHL center ice but they are only showing one game. Anyone know why this is? Is it because it's a free preview atm?
On a side note it's listed as 49.99 for the entire season, which seems like a good deal.

all this with only one game currently being streamed with GCL, imagine tonight when its a full slate.

LA/Chicago is also being nationally televised on NBC. Maybe it's being blacked out because of that.
