I think Lou did a pretty decent job, considering. Islanders made playoffs 5 out of 7 seasons, and won 6 series.

Previously, the Islanders had won 1 playoff series in 24 seasons.

Honestly if they are promoting from within it feels like that GM is being setup to fail

That team needs to blow it up and go full rebuild
