I think it's more that they don't want him in Guelph. I heard that they want Guelph to trade him to a contender, like the Knights.

They tried Kolosov tonight and so far he has let in 4 goals on 14 shots.

Hard to play in front goaltenders like that.

Yup. Having a guy like Mrazek is an underrated asset. If you’re trying to bottom out then yeah get the worst of the worst goalies but if you’re at the stage where you want to develop your young players that have to be able to play with some level of confidence in their goalie. Can’t imagine that not effecting your decision making.

At this age he needs those premium players surrounding him to serve him. Doesn't have that nor the best coach in the league to understand how to get the most out of him.

He’s a PP specialist and has been since he broke his leg years back. People forget TB rolled to that bubble Championship without Stamkos

He was great for the Leafs last year when Reilly had that suspension. Leafs played as tight defensively as I had seen all year. Not sure if that says more about Lilligren playing 27 mins in a few of those games or them playing their best D without Reilly

No one really knows at this point. It’s all conjecture. Some say he got paid and doesn’t care. Some say he may be playing hurt. Maybe it’s both for all we know. He does seem like a very streaky player as far as effort and production go.
