The Panthers are doing to the Bruins what the Bruins did to everyone for years.

A few years ago I remember a game 1 of a Florida/Tampa. Florida was kicking their ass. In a big moment Kucherov flops his head hard after a stick comes up, he grabs his face etc even though the stick was 6+inches away. And, another play from some other Bolt too was a similar sell job. Both called penalties and boom boom bolts are easily back in the game because they had a monster power play. Florida has come a long way since then.

It felt like if you had a good PP the strategy when you're actually down big time was to flop when and where you could. And, it worked in that game.

Canucks just ignore the BS and go to business.

Draisaitl can't manage to stay on his skates over and over and over to start the game...until a puck comes his way with half the net open then he smooth skates a half step in a split second and looks like his old self.

Maybe it's BS nostalgia or something but I feel like the flopping in the NHL playoffs is taking over a bigger chunk of the game.

On the opposite end of that the refs in the Panthers/Bruins game actually called an interference on someone holding up a guy on a dump in (long after the puck is gone) near the boards. But, not until there was like 30 seconds left in the game. They haven't called that all playoffs long.

Most dmen know what they can get away with when holding up players at the blue line. The call you're referring to had to be made.... it was definitely late.

Trouba, first goal in 41 games. In the playoffs the contributions on offense must be a team theme. It's amazing how many goals come from unlikely sources at times, usually times when a team need one .... that 's what leads to winning.
