Clutterbuck has always been a fake tough fella
Clutterbuck had some pretty good hits, too. He was noticeable but Carolina has way too much skill. NY has islands of talent but nothing cohesive.

NYI can only counter; they cannot dictate the play. They are done.

Kings are going to be such a middling team for the foreseeable future. Felt like only a year ago that they had what was thought of to be a top 3 farm system. But what did it get them? Byfield is finally coming into his own and Brandt Clarke might turn into a solid piece, but Turcotte busted, Kupari busted, Bjornfot busted, Vilardi was traded for a highly overpaid 3C, Kaliyev is a non-factor. And they haven't had a top 50 pick in either of the last two years; though they do technically have Jack Hughes waiting in the wings...

They've got enough pieces where they won't bottom out (without a huge firesale), but they also don't have enough talent coming to take them further than getting their teeth kicked in by the Oilers.

So glad the Hawks lucked into a generational talent. Oilers>>>Kings

I'll probably keep going back and forth but ........Which game to choose? 3rd period of Florida clash .... or the Jets-Avs game? Great hockey to watch.

Caps/Rangers in the last 2 minutes of reg..

.EDIT: and Rangers win ... now 2-0 in the series.
