The thing about this era of the Leafs is that they remind me of the 03, 07, and 08 Cubs. Good team, absolutely, but also looking for any and every excuse to roll over when push comes to shove.

The truth is: Leafs were no match for Boston in game 1... especially with Swayman between the pipes, an underrated goalie who was at the top of his game.... and Nylander out of the lineup allows Bruins to concentrate on shutting down Mathews/Marner.

6 goals on 21 shots will never ever get it done.

There’s a reason he has the most wins this season despite rocking a below .900 save %, his team saves him a lot.
