3rd best in their division with their #2 and #5 OVR picks looking underwhelming
That could be the flaw in their rebuild. They didn't tear it down enough, and get the quantity of picks they needed in order to be able to hit on more of their picks. They also have done nothing about the goaltending since Quick fell off of a cliff.

All they did was suck for a couple seasons, didn't trade any major players away for top picks/prospects, and started signing guys (Danault) or trading for guys (Fiala) after 3 seasons out of the playoffs.

The situations aren't all that similar.

Is Denisenko officially a bust? Seems like it.

Have to be careful with these players that dominate the MHL. It's a shit league. If they're not also playing above at the VHL or KHL level, there's a reason why.

Just realized that the Coyotes could've had Michkov AND Benson lmaoooo

In my opinion, based on the eye test alone, I am not sure why Benson fell other than size. He just has it.

His skating isn't the greatest. But I don't think it's a detriment either. He skates better than Andrew Cristall for example and Benson is twice the defensive player.

No he's amazing, it was a steal.

I had him as the fourth/fifth best prospect this year.

He's one of the most competitive and at the same time smartest from this year's crop. Those two traits never fail.

It's why I'm still a huge Jayden Perron fan and think he will make everyone look foolish for passing on him.
