I am sure some nonsense analytics will be pulled up to say "No he is actually great" or some nonsense to defend him

Fletcher (Since fired) traded a 2nd + 3rd + 4th for TDA and 7th

He then gave TDA a 2 yr deal with $5M AAV

1 year into deal and Flyers are going to eat $2.5M to move him back to Carolina

Personally I think PLD is mistake for Kings. He is never going to be more then 60-70 pt C who isn't all that great at faceoffs or any other facet of game

Giving up Vilardi is a mistake IMO

He is really coming together as player and is only 23

I think Vilardi could be a PPG 1st line winger for years to come who could be 35-40 goal scorer

NMC it seems

Takes him to 39 yrs old so he essentially will retire in Carolina

Still good 3rd liner and by end of year he may be a bit pricey as 4th liner but should still be productive

Overall fine signing by Canes getting AAV down by having it run 4 years and the NMC probably got price down as well
