Strome with two goals as the Caps are up 2-0 on the Oil. Man are the Oilers bad in their own zone.
Putting Strome out on a 4v4 vs 97 and 29 is certainly some type of strategy.Strome with two goals as the Caps are up 2-0 on the Oil. Man are the Oilers bad in their own zone.
Just added a PP helper, 3 point night.Strome with two goals as the Caps are up 2-0 on the Oil. Man are the Oilers bad in their own zone.
I watch a lot of the Caps they're fun. Strome has to have seven or eight points on the PP now.Just added a PP helper, 3 point night.
I think I read earlier that he leads the team in PP points. He's a nice player on a good team at a low AAV, I wouldn't want to be the team that ends up paying him 5/6 per.I watch a lot of the Caps they're fun. Strome has to have seven or eight points on the PP now.
2 goals, 1 assist.Strome with two goals as the Caps are up 2-0 on the Oil. Man are the Oilers bad in their own zone.
Not enough of a line driver.2 goals, 1 assist.
Hockey players don't get much better than that.
That might be a favor for Calgary the way he has been playing.Cizikas runs another goalie last night. Markstrom this time.
Why even risk jinxing it.One question I have: How are the Blues this bad? Is it just a slow start? Their D has been trash and not much goal scoring which is odd with that roster.
Only out of concern for our own tank. Trust me I enjoy watching them lose more than any other team! Why even risk jinxing it.
Said it in the offseason and I'll say it again.
Seth Jones for Risto and JvR.
Jones could potentially waive so he can play for Torts again, and we'd be free of his shitty contract.
Risto only has 4 more years after this, and it's a much easier contract to move down the line.Blergh. No thank you.
If/when KD tests the market on Jones, people here will be surprised with the return. Between the cap going up and #1 d-men being impossible to get, his contract isn’t nearly as dire as the rest of hf would like us to believe.I'd rather have seven years of a very good defenseman than four more years of an awful one.

Worst player in the league (apparently) on a 5.1 million cap hit. How is that not an impossible contract to move?Risto only has 4 more years after this, and it's a much easier contract to move down the line.
JvR can be flipped at the deadline for assets.
It's a good trade for Chicago.
