Now I'm even more curious.2. It was just an idea. I think the musical things that interest me wouldn’t be of much interest to many.
Do you play those 9-15 minute long math rock songs?

Math or meth rock? LolNow I'm even more curious.

I play a wide genre of music. I lean more towards jazz these days (last 20 - 25 years). I even like bossa/samba stuff from Brazil. Rhythmically, from the perspective of what you need to do with your right hand (assumes you’re right handed) its very complex & challenging. I just find music that is more challenging is something that I like. Perhaps its because I’ve been playing for around 60 years, so I seek challenges. Most songs that involve a small number of chords (triadic chords), I can figure out by ear pretty quickly. Now I'm even more curious.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one to indulge in this lol. I got the idea from some of the NFL and College football fan dens I've seen where they'll have like 5 TV's in 1 room, but I really just need the 2. Tablet and a computer monitor beside me there too, so surrounded by screens already should I want a 3rd or 4th game on. Maybe come playoff time, but also streaming apps like Sportsnet limit you to only 2 concurrent streams anyways. This is what I used to do when I was single. My bedroom would have 2 TVs side by side so I can watch tv or hockey games while playing video games.
Nothing was better than a Saturday little wake and bake and playing Forza while a documentary plays..easy to listen to documentaries while racing.
Now our best tv is in the living room...so I almost don't want to watch games anywhere else...wife won't allow 2 TVs side by side as it would be an eye sore...so I guess I wait until I can buy 2 better TVs for the man cave?
That story was over the top in negativity.View attachment 1004520

I'm not going to defend SN coverage, but Steve Simmons lamenting that Don Cherry, Glenn Healy and George Stromboulopoulos being gone is pretty funny. They were all terrible anyways (I like Stombo in other things, just not hockey coverage)View attachment 1004520

I for one am incredibly happy that Healy is gone.I'm not going to defend SN coverage, but Steve Simmons lamenting that Don Cherry, Glenn Healy and George Stromboulopoulos being gone is pretty funny. They were all terrible anyways (I like Stombo in other things, just not hockey coverage)
Well other team's fans are a lot more interested in the Sens with the rise of Brady's profile, especially in the States. Now you combine that with the Sens making the playoffs this year and they become a much more viable team to market. And if the Leafs / Sens have a series this year their exposure and popularity increase dramatically. So Friedman is reporting that an additional 10 Senators games may become national games with this new deal. While that sounds lousy because TSN does a much better job than Sportsnet, it does have a potential silver lining.
The Senators might be able to have fewer of those 5PM Sunday or Saturday afternoon games so that TSN can broadcast it. Those games can have normal 7PM start times because they'll be on Sportsnet instead.
Do you have a link, because the original presser, sounded like the additional games were for the teams that had Sportsnet as their regional provider. So Friedman is reporting that an additional 10 Senators games may become national games with this new deal. Thanks, and yes it does end at the same time. So instead of about 62 regional games, will drop to around 52 I guess."Currently, we split Toronto’s regionals with TSN, while exclusively carrying Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. We also acquired 10 more Ottawa and 10 more Winnipeg games than in the current contract, which would take effect in 2026-27. "

Expect fewer blackouts with new Rogers NHL rights deal
Elliotte Friedman writes about how special it is to be a part of Rogers Sportsnet NHL broadcasts, and why fewer blackouts can be expected in the next rights deal.www.sportsnet.ca
I was confused how the NHL can just take away regional games from TSN. But I looked up their regional deal with the Senators and it might be ending the same time as the current Rogers deal is ending.
