Great advice, but not in anyway related to what I was complaining about. If you push multiple buttons simultaneously, you get different animations. Pushing in your right thumbstick and pressing your left bumper will allow your player to move laterally via the hipcheck animation. Any of the offensive skill moves like the lacrosse require you to use one of these button combos.
Unless, of course, you're using Total Control. If that's the case, you're putting yourself at a disadvantage against most WOC competition because you don't have enough control of your player vs skill stick.
IMO if you really want to get a handle of how you control your player, you should be running hours in free skate with the pass aim visuals turned on. Mess around with the different animations. Try scoring lacrosse goals, through the legs passes, manual saucers and flip dumps. Mess around with different builds and find the ones that you like the feel of.
That's something I do every year prior to running a single game along with turning off all commentators and game music. Didn't even consider it.Great advice, but not in anyway related to what I was complaining about.
Found the problem and fixed it. I had forgotten to turn off skating backwards automatically. Holding down LT to skate backwards while already doing so slowed me down considerably. Atleast it feels that way, haven't tested and timed it. And made my pivots slow as hell. Now i can pick up speed skating forwards and then pivot to face the opponent.
Same, just completely forgot about it this year. Thanks for helping out buddy .That's something I do every year prior to running a single game along with turning off all commentators and game music. Didn't even consider it.
I don’t think so, got the game yesterday and there are some glaring omissions in Bakersfield, usually that hits in December.Did they update the AhL rosters yet?
There was an update yesterday actually. It looks like they fixed the ahl at least.Got the game at a lower Black Friday price, and it plays a decent game of hockey after some major slider surgery, but one thing I can’t seem to fix, it’s the passing, my controlled team is around 60% and the AI team is always over 90%, any tips?
I also need to figure out which checks are an insta-penalty this year, with the total control having a lot better way to select different types of checks.
