I'm pleasently surprised they even care about franchise mode anymore. But why on earth can they never fix Polish, Hungarian, Norwegian etc players coming up in the draft with names that actually makes sense for those countries.

Agreed. This, the jersey colors, and the lack of a generated player portrait seem like easy fixes.

You or I could probably google the top 100 first and last names from any of those countries and have the computer generate names based off that, fixing it in no time.

I now just look up a video on the start of Be A Pro mode and if I see that outdoor rink and the guy on the phone I just know there's no point in buying.

Im not even a big fan of Be A Pro but you just know nothing changed

Franchise mode full of glitches. When you checking stats of players their stats will be super imposed over another players profile, usually with goaltending.

I fully appreciate making the style of the Franchise coach you hire matter, but I also want full autonomy over strategies. It’s pretty irritating to lose that after 20+ years

seems outrageous they can just take a feature like icon passing, and just deactivate it.. i wish i could get a refund..

thought this year might be better with new franchise, but it seems to have more bugs than ever..

They need to offer refunds on this shit immediately. You cannot put out a game breaking update and just leave it.

I played about 12 games or so and I just can't get into it. Safe to say I lost that loving feeling for the EA NHL series. Been playing this game for 30+ years too.

Played my first real AHL game today, PS5 roster poster king_giggs roster “2024-2025 Second Update” is pretty close.

I had to fill in the rest, edited the Condors and Wranglers (a few CHL players and one from SM-Liiga needed to be moved and one CAP for Calgary), and a few overall adjustments for good performing players this year and the usual under 68 boosts for players arriving from other leagues.

Then played a game with last weeks lines controlling Bakersfield. Fun game.

The new tuning update somehow made my major slider surgery better. Lots of puck battles.

If work isn’t too crazy I’ll start editing other AHL teams.

Does anyone else who play defense notice that sometimes when the play goes forward, and you try to hang back and recover energy/stamina, your character just starts to haul ass towards the opponents goal? Even though you're not touching the left stick?

Same thing with FIFA (or current EA FC), people are buying UT packs like no tomorrow and that's their biggest revenue. They have no incentive to actually make the game better, because people will buy those shiny packs no matter what.

Things will change when people stop buying these games. FIFA is dead and gone because of huge player base, but with the NHL there's still a chance.

I find the game play fun when I can actually get into a game. The problem is, it takes 10-15 mins to connect to a game. Im constantly stuck in 'finding opponent' when looking for a game in 6v6. It destroys the replay ability of the game.

I keep toggling with the gameplay sliders trying to find the speed the game should be at. I find it extremely annoying to find a rate where the puck receptions are realistic. Playing keep bobbling the puck no matter where I set it.

I must be getting too old for this game. The game is trying to emulate today's game, which is way too choppy and dependant on the refs. I miss the arcade style where a hit was a hit, a deke was a deke. This crap is getting out of hand.
