I also have a MOV Gaudreau that I am probably going to sell after he gets another likely couple upgrades TOTW, ASG...

I can't score with him and he usually is slotted in my 3rd line Left wing. I play a puck possession game and he gets knocked off of the puck. If Okposo gets another upgrade he will be pushed to my 2nd line, his shot is awesome.

Try Gaudreau on the right. He is small and gets knocked off a lot but on the RW he is money on the one timer.. even goes to one knee like Cammalleri. Tie up draw on left side, feed across for the one timer.. he is by far my best RW on scoring on that play.

All my forwards are big, besides him. So yeah, he doesn't really fit on my team either but I'm getting better with him. Also helps to put a big player on the line with him. I roll Carter-Bergeron-MOV Gaudreau.

He'll be 90 OV tomorrow.

Also giving no love to Zetterberg on that 4th line. I roll him top line LW and is top 3 on my team in points and great defensively.

Also: how's that Bjugstad? Picked one up for 35K before the market went up. Was waiting for an upgrade before getting him in my lineup.

He'll be even better when he can score those 5 ****ing goals to get him his upgrade.... I'm getting close to selling him because I'm tired of waiting. Been about 2 weeks since he's tucked one in the back of the net. Bah.

I like Z but I couldn't start him over any of my other RW's and I like to have the shooters on the off wing. I occasionally switch him and Duchene. I tend to use him on my PK and my 4th line gets more time generally than my 3rd, his defense is why he is even on the team to be honest. I don't lack any scorers in my lineup. Maybe I'll drop Kessel off my team (not a fan) and move Johnny over to the right and Z to the left.

Bjugstad is a beast for me, if he was faster he would be unstoppable. That is why I have the C on him. His shot is hard and he cannot be knocked off of the puck. His reach makes him a defensive monster too. I don't know that he would be good for most people but he fits the way I play. Especially coming out of the corner and looking for 'senko on the one timer.

Can you guys give me tips on upgrading my team? I got to D4 and it feels like this team is just getting run around. I know part of it is i need to step my play but I feel like I still need to upgrade. Any specific player recommendations would be great!

Find better tactics. I am in division 4 and doing ok with the following team:

TOTW Hall - Granlund - Forsberg
Lupul - Scheifele - Beleskey
MOV Domi - Fisher (a bronze guy, 71 OA) - Pulkkinen
Winnik - Filppula - Komarov

Wotherspoon (73 OA) - MOV Klingberg
Barrie - Trouba
TOTW Larsson - Burns

MOV Jones
Child (Bronze guy)


Against some guys you need to cycle the puck and be patient whilst the next guy is awesome at intercepting passes and would fare worse against a hard hitting team that goes straight for the net all the time.

And then there is the cherrypicking... Not beautiful, but when you are trailing you might need to do a drastic, boring move once in awhile...

Get bigger. Those top 2 lines are on the softside and what are you doing with your fourth line? There's no shortage of good prevent players that can stilll score in this game. Mix size and speed, but yeah more size. It looks like you're wasting pucks on some pretty so-so players (But I don't know, they're maybe collection guys). I've been successful with all the bolded guys in Div 1, but to some degree it comes down to play style.

Finished TOR and pulled my first 87 overall. Kronwall!

I was looking for a replacement for Brodin so he is very well welcomed to my line-up. :)

Hey, what is the maximum buying price for a gold TOTW player, if I have intentions to bump training cards on him and quicksell for profit?

How many training cards you need to add to get the maximum profit? Does it matter if I add 2 or if I add 5 cards? Tips for this method would be nice! :)

I have $hitloads of these training cards and in my experience they are worthless and cba to add them on my own players...

Spent about a million in pucks this week after playing with my so-so collection team for ages. After selling Weber and Gaudreau Mov for roughly a million I bought Bure, Kurri, Modan, Carlson and Burns for about the same. Have not played with Bure yet, but the other four have been great through the five 5-10 games I've played with them. And yes, Im convinced Backes at 90 is the best center in the game.

Looking to trade T.Hall to avoid EA taxes.

I am fine with anything that equals to 96k if the players are from same team. Looking to complete a collection I haven't done, so to speak.

Collections I have done so far:

ARZ, BUF, CAR, COL, CBJ, EDM, FLA, NJD, TOR.
 
So are we just going to see a boat load of POTG, Milestone and TOTW cards dropped at one time?
 
selling the following bronze collections for 5k each!

QMJHL: shawinigan, sherbrooke, saint john, val d'or, victoriaville
WHL: brandon, calgary, edmonton, kootenay, medicine hat, portland, red deer, regina, saskatoon, vancouver.

All of the teams have 3-5 untradeables but theyre all easy to pick up!

I built my team last night... Played against 2 or 3 teams like this.. And it made me want to quit the game. No matter what i did, i couldnt score, or poke the puck off their sticks. If there isn't some sort of evening the playing field mechanism in this game id be shocked.
 
Yeah I'm starting to prefer stacked teams to the helm/zucc/sharp teams.

Its just not fun playing the same budget teams all the time. Just got into div 2 maybe they will stop

I like this setup. I enjoy MoJo as well. I personally am not a fan of Bjugstad, but I'm in the minority there.

agreed. Anytime i see vermette or hanzal as their number 1 centre i know i'm in for a beating lol
