**NHL 15 Thread** Part VIII

Trying Live the Life on 360 and am pretty underwhelmed so far. VERY formulaic. I'm on the ice for every seemingly every goal scored and goal against. Same interview questions every couple of games that influence a totally meaningless "Likability" meter. I
The biggest problem is that I feel like unless i'm completely controlling the game with my Pro, nothing really happens and the game isn't fun at all. I'm a defenseman on the Lightning 3rd Pairing and I feel like even with Hedman, Carle, Stamkos, Kucherov, etc...I have to do everything in order for anything to happen.
Maybe i'm not explaining it properly but I'm overall disappointed with this game mode. I think EA set out to make the gamer feel like they were a real life NHL Pro but all this game mode really amounts to is 22 minutes of position lock gaming that is a rinse and repeat process over the course of a NHL season. I don't feel like i'm a part of a NHL team, it feels like i'm playing GM Mode but puck hogging with one player all the time.
Oh and one more small complaint, for NHL 16 can EA please make it so the other team's lines are shown when I step on the ice? Until they have the puck I have no idea who is out there. I think it'd really add to the immersion of the game mode if I knew I was a 3rd pairing dman going out against a team's top line and now have a chance to prove myself.

This game has no clue what interference is. It is absolutely ridiculous. Never have I seen so many BS goalie interference calls made, and then blatantly obvious interference calls NOT made. Just one of MANY things wrong with this game.
I was penalized twice for goalie interference (after he already froze the puck), on the same play, by two different players, giving the computer a 5-on-3.

Of course, I won the face-off and skated down the ice for a shortie. So there.
So I guess they're done with the "content updates" for NHL 15, so they can focus on making NHL 16 super awesome, right?

I've had it happen like 3 times where I'll come out from behind the net and attempt to cut across the crease or just outside of it and the goalie will come out and I'll barely touch him and I'll score and it never counts and I get hit with a goalie interference..basically making that type of goal(a realistic NHL goal) impossible. Especially since its usually the opposing dman hitting me into his own goalie. Beyond ridiculous.
Did you ever send out ANY patches?
If so, can you edit players yet?
I'm not embarrassed to admit that was one of my favourite features. Could play many seasons of BeAGM offline just because you could make the rookies and random prospects unique and fix up equipment crap that OCD people like me are bugged by.

6 attempted games, 3 "you have lost connection with the other players" notices. **** this. My connection is perfect, no lag. All the disconnects have been in the last 10 minutes of the 3rd period too.
My connection is almost perfect when I play Destiny, but is just garbage in NHL 15..lost connection on their end multiple times
Question: My roommate and i like to do fantasy drafts on season mode and play against each other in NHL 14. Is this, or something like it, possible in NHL 15? We just want to be able to do separate fantasy drafts and be able to play against each other. Also, is there still a way for both of us to play together on the same X-Box on our HUT team? We use to be able to play offline tournaments or single games, just not play online(which is sort of weak).

I don't know but even if they did for gm mode can you draft two teams? You use to not be able to which it's why we played season mode.

My game does this thing where about three minutes into each game, it'll pull up the little menu in the corner to adjust your break out strategy and that stays up for the entire game. It stops me from using the poke check cuz the button adjusts something in that menu. Anyone know a fix for that or if it may have been patched? (Haven't had mine online since October, so haven't gotten any recent patches.)

Alright, i've been looking for answers everywhere and apparently I can't findit anywhere.
I bought NHL15 for PlayStation 3, managed to play a few games, set up my custom music and get my GM Mode started. And recently I went to go play and it freezes up right after the title screen, right before you get to the main menu. Anyone else have this problem? I've tried everything I can, but can't seem to find a solution.

Is this Hut? I was only able to play 1/10 games because of this last year, so i gave up after i reached division 1.
I wonder if this is just me, or if you guys are all getting it as well (or are even the culprits), but it seems that as soon as I moved up to HUT division 4/3/2/1, I am getting threat messages/insults/whining/go die/etc... from EVERY SINGLE PLAYER REGARDLESS OF WIN OR LOSS.
It's almost like every single person I am playing now is an immature kid who spams my inbox after a game.
In the past week, I have griefed reported and blocked 20 people as a result of this. It is getting ridiculous now.

I mean, that is what the game needs? Right?

HUT is their top game mode and money maker. They would be silly not to make it all about hut.

I think it's great that they haven't updated their rosters in a ****ing month. Terrific support for a product that they are already trying to sweep under the rug and forget it ever happened.

No doubt but when the game is missing as many modes as it is on new-gen and has issues such as the shift skip on be-a-pro on all versions it is unacceptable to go for one mode. They should be working hard to make the rest of the game brilliant to make up for the ****-storm they served up, but they clearly only care about the money.
It's not even like it takes much effort to make that new Patrick Roy card. It is a change team card, that it is.
