If they were planning on adding any ECHL / NCAA / USHL or anything, would we have heard about it by now?

How can EA look at this and be proud of it? The dynamic lighting and jersey movement? Great. But look at the player models? Just look at them. Why are the players so boxy? Why does the logo look screen printed? Why is the color on the Ducks jersey so terribly off? Why does it look like Kesler's taken up a cocaine addiction? Why does the jersey look so short?

Jesus Christ. Thankfully they've revamped the presentation system completely and there's a next-gen version, otherwise I'd pass on this faster than Byfuglien chasing down an ice cream van.

Not sure what you mean about the color. I'm looking back and forth between the picture on my screen and the real jersey in my room and there's hardly a difference (in colors) if at all. The rest of your statements I don't disagree with, but I'm not really complaining either. Also, hats off for that last bit.

The Ducks orange is much more of a red-orange than what they've got. I know there's going to be confusion stemming from our own website, the Ducks official pantone swatches, different pictures taken in different lighting environments, etc. but EA's is almost bordering on a yellow-orange which is far off.

The gold on the other hand is pretty close, and surprisingly well done considering the monstrosity that was this jersey's first appearance in an NHL game (it was literally yellow):

wow looks like they toned down the face paint (used to be 1 face painted for every 4 faces on screen) and also toned down the number of phoenix jets jerseys.

so when do they usually start releasing actual gameplay videos? and i dont mean their new way of saying trailer .. i mean REAL gameplay the way we play it and not getting cut and edited to look better than it is.

another month and a half and we will be close to the demo .. so hopefully we dont have to wait much longer to see some real gameplay

There's like 9000 different fan models or something like that. Some games there will be a lot, some games there will be almost none.

Given the current state of relations between EA and the NCAA, I think it's safe to say that we won't be seeing real college teams or players for a long time, if ever.

I get what you're saying and in the previous/current games, it has been off, but the new picture of Kesler looks (at the very least) much closer to the actual orange.

The thickness of the jerseys on the players look atrocious. I hope for better models at release.

Atrocious? Mate, overreact much?

Yes. I think they were trying to implement jersey physics to make it flap like in the advertisement. Instead it makes each player look overweight. The jerseys look like the CCM jerseys in the PS3/X360 gen. I hope they fix it, the player model is definitely an important aspect of the game. I know it might sound nit-picky but it really does look that bad.

Does anybody know if we will see a lot more actual faces for players instead of generic faces? It drives me crazy when teams only have like 5 or 6 players with actual faces!

Make be a gm more realistic. Have the draft be more important, and players potentials different so I can't just offload old players for cheap youngsters that I know will be 85+ overall after a couple seasons.
