Patriots/NFL NFL Patriots Off Season

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Diggs exceptional route runner - played slot last season in Houston (Nico Collins legit wr1, & Tank Bell outside)

Ideally he’s a WR2 but he’s a significant upgrade and McDaniels will love him

I love the Diggs signing. He is an immediate weapon for Drake Maye, depending on recovery. I still take the Carter and then Hunter in the draft unless someone blows you away with a great trade for that pick. Either one of these guys is excellent value where we'd be getting them. I don't want Campbell or Tetaiaroa(sp?) here. I don't want a reach. I would love to see Hunter lining up across from Diggs as soon as Diggs is healthy. Everyone else battles for depth positions. Hunter majors in WR this year and likely only dabbles at CB if I were calling the shots.

I'd trust the wheelchair more than Pol. Doesn't make this a good signing.

Actually feels like a real loser-organization type move to me,
More of a loser move then going into the season with the WRs we had yesterday. He is far and away the most talented WR we have had in years. Sucks that he doesn't have Troy Brown's character. At some point you have to bite the bullet and acquire talented players.

Giants have Wilson and Winston. They are set for the year at QB.

Will they take Hunter, Jeanty or an Offensive lineman? History says lineman. My hunch says Hunter and offense.
I think they still go QB. Jameis is the backup QB week 1 and designated mentor from day 1. They need a QB. They need to develop him properly. Wilson and Winston aren’t blocking a rookie anymore then Cousins was blocking Penix. When the future is ready he plays. I think the Giants draft there guy and that it’s Sanders.

I'm way way way more worried about his health than his character.
