Rourke was in college during the 2020 covid year, so not sure if he's already used his super SR season. He was born in 2000, so he's 24. Probably means, he goes day 3 at best, which was always going to be the case, or he's an UDFA. Recovery is 9 months, so even with a Super SR year in college, he's not participating in spring practice. Borderline to be ready come the start of the season in either league. Not sure what Rourke's draft prospects were to begin with, but this probably won't help too much
Agent: QB Rourke led Indiana to CFP on torn ACL
Indiana quarterback Kurtis Rourke will undergo surgery next week to repair an ACL tear in his right knee that he played through during the 2024 season, his agent told ESPN.www.espn.com
NFL, he's on the PUP list to start and might land on IR for half the season. Ultimately would be on the PS in 2025. College, hard to say if the IU QB2 will play well enough in spring to take the job or the HC gives it back to Rourke when he's ready to go at some point in 2025.
