NFL 2024

I knew the Philly D was tough but that was just overpowering. Those who called for a 3 peat probably missed the NFC final which was just as convincing.

I hope Philly is still standing tomorrow. It will be a wild night.

And this is why football is such anti-climactic sport at times with the kneel downs to end a game.

Mahomes probably telling Hurtz that was a bullshit game like he did to Allen that time lol

Phillys coach’s family came over during his tv interview and his little boy says “Wow, you beat the Chiefs”-lol
The garbage time is tiresome to watch.

Kelce will have tears on his guitar tonight.

I’d just like to point out Mahomes is now 0-2 in the SB when Brady is in the building. Once as an opposing QB and once with Brady as an announcer.
Loved Brady as a player, but he is just awful as a color guy. Was hoping he'd get better as the season went on, but unfortunately that didn't happen. Be nice if he left and concentrated on the Raiders, but likely won't give up that cash cow.

This is the single biggest difference between the Pats and Chiefs for me. The Patriots were perennial winners, but generally speaking, they won with class. The Chiefs are substantially more entitled, played a much softer schedule, and consistently benefited from reffing that was suspect at best and outright biased at worst.

I loved the Pats run, always fun to watch greatness, but they were absolutely hated and vilified by basically anyone that wasn’t a Pats fan for being cheaters, having the league in their back pockets, etc. Time often seems to lessen how much they were despised, but it was bad. You’d have been hard pressed to have found a single opposition fan back then that would have said that the Pats won with class, pretty much the exact opposite. As for the schedule, every team is subject to the exact same formula, with division games given a higher priority. Pats had a bunch of years where the AFC east was really weak.

Before the game Brady had a sit down interview with Mahomes and Brady asked him for one word if he won 3 straight. He said ‘greatness’ and was real cocky about it. Haha, Philly must of saw it too cuz they put him in his place early and often.
I didn’t see any interviews from that loud mouth Kelce or his teeny bopper girlfriend after the game either.
What a sore LOSER.

I wasn't really a big believer in the Eagles because of the quality of competition they faced on the way. But at the same time the Chiefs won a lot of games they probably should've lost so this game was just their luck running out.

Either way it was a crap game.

I seem to remember New England getting gifted a Super Bowl appearance after a Chiefs player on the far side of the field was found to have a fingernail offside on the last play of the game, or thereabouts. NFL officiating influencing outcomes is not a new phenomenon.

I think the Pats getting busted cheating by filming the other team’s walk-throughs and of course deflate gate, that made them the super villains. They were hated before because there was a good chance it was probably going to be Brady in the conference championship at minimum, but once they got caught, their credibility took a major blow.

Lol how so?

Zero luck involved it was domination.

I didn't say it was luck, you can only face the teams that are in front of you. Just wasn't sold on the strength of the NFC since the Packers, Rams, and Commanders weren't exactly huge threats. Especially compared to the likes of the Bills.
Packers were fantastic but played in a ridiculous division. The rams I somewhat agree but funny enough they were the closest game. The Commanders knocked out arguably the best team in the league and the Eagles absolutely pumped them.

I’ll agree the eagles got somewhat fortunate that the lions / Vikings got eliminated but the conference final should have erased any doubts that the Eagles were going to be KCs toughest test yet.

The luck comment was directed at you saying “KCs luck just ran out”. No luck involved there. One team executed and one didn’t.

I don't like either team much, but preferred the Eagles. Love Andy Reid but he rarely gets hammered like that. Glad Barkley won a ring.

It was an ugly game but also beautiful!!
