I think the question of when they name the next San Jose Sharks captain is an interesting one. Most likely it is during training camp. I suppose there is a small chance it happens tomorrow.

But my personal hope is that they tell us tomorrow that there will be a ceremony at the final game where Couture will hand off the captaincy to the new captain (without saying who it is), and that you'll have to watch/attend the game on Wednesday to see that and see the new Captain don the "C" in the regular season finale game. Would be a good way to drive some ticket sales.

That's why I voted Celebrini. It's his team now and for the foreseeable future. Toffoli is a great example. But if Celebrini wanted him gone (not suggesting he does, but *IF* he did) he would be gone. It's Celebrini's team.
