Mike Sullivan for me personally with my vaguely knowledgeable opinion that’s worth about as much as meatloaf at a buffet.

Need a vet

Sullivan ideally come off-season

Done taking chances on coaches with no exp. Soronsen will be number 4 since Q if we count interim

Get someone in there with a clue

Voted other. Like most I want vet coach and only one on that list is Sutter and current players are too vanilla for that kind of vet.

David Carle or Todd Mclellan. Two different directions but I think both are top notch coaches.

I want them to talk to Carle have a verbal agreement in place for 2025-2026. Interm Anders for the season so Carle doesnt have to take 40 more loses with the Vets and can start fresh next year with Nazar Korchinski and more free agents.

I would think Carle has a relationship with the hawks after coaching Guttman Mitchell and Thompson.

Every Shift would be much watch. It would be great to see Mike teaching Bedsy how to foil up before his first line brawl. That would be a pivotal moment in his young career.
JR's pre-HOF interview where he was talking about Keenan and how he changed the way JR played was really interesting. It was obviously a different time and the game was fundementally different - but that was an amazing interview.

I'm on the Turk train all the way. He could turn this around quickly, players love playing for him. he does have a short shelf life, but in that time he'd get the team back to respectability

David Carle. Owning college and international junior hockey. Ready to move on.

I would bring in Carle for Rockford. I don't think KD is going to hire someone with no NHL experience. It's a different game in the NHL.

Can anyone remember the last time a coach jumped into the NHL with no prior professional North American coaching experience and was successful?

Carle aint going to Rockford.

Montgomery Hakstol and Quinn were all solid. Not sure anything but NCAA would work for that question.

Don’t see him leaving Denver for an AHL job.

It's amazing how short NHL coaching tenures can be and how many of them seem to rotate from team to team. I don't know who the next guy is going to be but I feel like he's gonna be another transition coach until the team is ready to compete.

I also have to wonder how good the dynasty years would have been if it weren't for Quenneville being available when he was.

Q was the perfect coach available at the right time. Those years were the perfect storm of all the ingredients you need to win. It's not intentionally replicable. Rebuilds are necessary but risky.

I didnt really think about it but Carle also has coached Rinzel Moore Hayes and Nazar in his World Juniors win.

Anybody that can stick to a plan is fine. Get a sample size in different lines/pairs in variations of the system. Got a couple years of sucking, more important to get useful information and keep kids focused on planning how to play instead of fighting day to day for a shift and deferring all mouth movements to Foligno.

It's going to take a while to recover from Richardson, no rush now that he's finally gone.

It's like a post surgery feeling right now.
