My girlfriend lives near there, that armory is huge. Wow 8 rinks?? That's pretty nuts.

When I look at the Rangers team I feel like come 2014-2015 they'll be in cap hell. They have this same endless cycle of paying players too much and having to find bargain guys in FA and its a cycle of top heavy to balanced for about a season then top heavy again.

This season they have, Clowe who is having some ridiculous demands it sounds like, Stepan, Hagelin, and Zuccarello as RFA's. Stepan I feel will get just north of 4 million, Hagelin around 2.5 million, and Zucarello at around 1.5 million. This season they can manage. It becomes the 2014-2015 season that is a issue

Callahan, Brassard, Del Zotto, Girardi, and a few bottom 6ers are up for upgrades on payment. Colombus didn't do NYR a favor by giving Brassard 3.2 million because he isn't going to take a paycut. Girardi is going to command more than 3.25, Del Zotto will command $$$ and Callahan will want some more $

Should be fun to watch and Hank is a UFA that season too.

Good for him, and it's about damn time. Joe Succo was a terrible dirty player, and sucked as a coach. I'm surprised they didn't can him sometime during the 11-12 season, and was very surprised they gave him an extension last Summer.

I knew you'd be happy about that, Bleedred.

I'm not really necessarily happy cause I could give a kazoo about that Avalanche team, but yeah good going for him. Hated him as a player cause he was a real ass, especially in his very brief stint with the Flyers which is right before he retired.

I'm puzzled how he outlasted Guy Boucher though. I think they gave Joe an extension after last season, and I was baffled cause I thought the plug was getting pulled right then and there.

Have you seen secondary ticket prices for the Islanders? They are selling out the entire first round. Cheapest ticket for game 3 on Stubhub is more than I paid for game 1 of the finals last year.
