Wat a letdown from promising early years in Columbus . . . and Hadyn Fleury just signed a two-way contract . . . #7 overall pick in 2014.
Two more examples of why a total rebuild is so fraught with risk of getting it wrong.
In Roslovic's case, I mean, he was drafted by Winnipeg and that's where he broke in, but yes, his four+ seasons with Columbus.... Well, considering he's from that area, I thought that was gonna be a real fit for the long term.
Dunno what happened but Roslovic should be getting you 15-35-50 a season. Underachieving when he doesn't.

I talked to him back in 2015 when he was the RW on a line with Matthews and Tkachuk at the U18 Worlds in Switzerland. The US won OT gold over a Laine-Puljujarvi-led Finnish side. Sebastian Aho actually flew in from the Liiga championships the night before just to play that one gold medal game. Scored the lone goal for FIN in the 2-1 loss.
Heck, maybe Aho and Roslovic will line up together instead of against each other.
There's gotta be a pick of the two lining up against each other at the faceoff circle of that GM game.
Maybe OTT signed him because it makes him more tradeable? The Isles, or any organization that is interested, would probably love the idea that they get him for another 4 years (being an RFA the entire time).
My OTT people say the team and fanbase desperately want to see Pinto in Ottawa and manning the 2nd line for the long run.
They were shivering in their boots about possibly seeing him get traded.

As a sidenote, they'd all welcome back Pageau for the right price. A week ago they were suggesting PO Jospeh straight up for him.
