Devils adding a 26 year old star

They have the talent to be a very tough out and could play with anyone. Assuming the goaltending continues to hold up, the only thing holding them back may be playoff experience. Hoping they kick the Rangers asses in the first round.

I know a problem for another day but going to be an interesting off season for them. They have a ton of UFAs and RFAs going into next season.

If the Isles miss or get knocked out early, this is going to be a tough playoffs to watch/enjoy. Among the top 6 teams in the East: I hate the Rags, Devils and Leafs. I dislike the Bruins and Lightning. And I am indifferent to Carolina. I guess I will be rooting for Carolina.

Were it to come to that, would probably be the Bs for me. I love watching Bergeron, Pasta and Marchant.

Yeah, it is one of the most convoluted trades I have ever seen and the sharks did not get one significant piece for a 26 year old 35 goal scoring RFA. First round draft pick that will be basically a second round pick and Zetterlund who has 6 goals and 20 points in 50 games. How San Jose made this trade and did not get Mercer, Nemec or Sharangovich is a joke.

it will be easy for me if the Isles are out.
- First whoever plays the Leafs or Rangers is my favorite team of the moment.
- if the Caps or Penguins make it will root against them unless they play the Rangers or Leafs
- if the Rangers and Leafs meet in the conference finals, I drink myself into a stupor until I forget that hockey even exists, wake up in time for the Cup finals and then root hard for the west.

I actually like the Devils so if we are out, would root for them in the Metro.
