Many were talking about the 3 games we had left against both Pitts and Wash (now down to 1 vs Pens) but we still have 2 games vs Buffalo and 1 vs Detroit left (all home btw)..looking like they could be big games now... I think we are done with Florida and Ottawa.
 
In a normal year I would say call Washington and see what it takes to get Craig Smith, however, his season has been putrid. Although I guess he could be had for say a fifth rounder, maybe a fourth at most? And he would probably be motivated to match up against Boston.
 
Fricken rangers, you want them to win and they lose. They play Caps on Saturday and probably will lose again.

Wings manhandled them. Rangers looked flat and Wings took it to them. Lalonde has them playing Tampa style hockey with younger legs.

In between periods, they asked Perron how cool he thought it was to be in a playoff race. His answer was profound. He said it isn't cool enough because they aren't there yet. Awesome acquisition by them

PS: Anthem singer came in at 2 minutes and 12 seconds.

I'm thinking as of sunset on another day, looks like us, Fla and Det. 3 teams 2 spots. Pitt and Wash look like garbage and Buffalo very iffy. Ottawa 5 in hand but we're up 9 pts.

Seemed like she dragged it out longer than most. My wife walked in befuddled that I had the stopwatch on and the sound down. My son and I always stand at attention when they play it. Had to see it twice.

In any event, she was the opening charm to a Rangers defeat!

Back on topic agree with your playoff assessment. I think the Isles make it, but I’m much less confident about this team in the actual playoffs.

But I would be thrilled if Sorokin would troll the NHL to some playoff round wins.

So now I think I get it. She pretends to be asleep so we stop the shrill!

I'm a believer that I'd rather make the playoffs and fail then fail to not make it at all

So were there others who turned a blind eye towards evil doings while being in an authority position? Perhaps. That doesn’t make it any less reprehensible.
