I realize Atkinson is in front of 13, so his head is double the size, but he’s not that much in front of him.

If I’m a Flyers fan I’m chapped after seeing this one. It rubs salt in the wound and makes me wonder whether Atkinson is wishing he was back in Columbus.

Good player but 35 goals with a 20+ shooting percentage. Imagine if that percentage was more realistically around 12% giving him 20 goals.

More importantly for Isles fans, the bar for Barzal’s next deal gets higher and higher. Imagine if #13 has the breakout year we all have been waiting for. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to see it happen. But if it does….

Sure seems like Gaudreau didn't want to go to the Northeast, but settle more in the Midwest. If that is the case, the Isles were never in consideration and he was very disingenuous.
