This year was his final chance to develop into something other than a marginal, one dimensional and ineffective NHLer. He didn't. Time to give it up, and give the nearly endless chances he's been getting to somebody else.

Yeah it seems like the more NHL time he gets, the more comfortable he gets. His first game up was ****ing terrible, he looked like he was a forward playing defense for the first time. He's been better in the last 2. Being paired with Gleason isn't exactly a way to get comfortable quickly either.

Crouse being ahead of Hanifin is an absolute ****ing joke, I'll put it that way.
It's like taking the next Zack Kassian over the next Drew Doughty.
Sure, Crouse was okay on Canada's 4th line with a 2013 1st rounder and a 2014 first rounder. Good for him.
Hanifin was easily USA's best all around defenseman.

Gerbe // Rask // Tlusty
Malone // McClement // Dwyer
Liles also in. Bellemore, Terry out. This is the first time all year that they've been completely healthy (not counting Nestrasil, who did come off IR). Against Buffalo, I expect a blowout.
