I bet he gets a few games this season. Rangers MO gets a few games before the following season that he'll get more ice time and way more games. Happened with Cuylle, most likely with Edstrom Rempe and Othmann this season. .

At least they attempt to do this while the Rangers organization are too cheap to have a stream for some of the players that could play for the Rangers this season. Rangers need a social media upgrade

No one offered him an NHL contract in the offseason. They aren't giving him one based on this game.
