Face value doesn't mean what you paid after fees or on the secondary market. Unfortunately, you're going to have to take a cut if you actually ponied up that much. There are better tickets for cheaper prices (even after fees) on the various resale sites.

The point of this thread is to help fellow fans save on fees, not scam them because you overpaid.

Not trying to scam anyone, see my attached photo for proof. Take it easy.

No way face is $390 a ticket. I am in lower 211 and face is $250
Apparently it is.

I have a pair:
Sec 225, Row 21, Seats 3-4

Can't go anymore. I paid $526.80 ($263.40 each). Anyone want them? Ticketmaster listing adds $50 in fees, so would rather just sell them direct.

My guess is that you purchased verified resale via TM and that's why they were so high, which would not be the face value, but the resale value. I have a full strip on the other side, same price level & my face was roughly $195. If the Rangers are charging a 100% markup to individual purchasers that's news to me.

MSG now uses dynamic pricing on all its sales. So a ticket that was $250 sth price was $290 for initial release to the public and was subsequently raised to $390 and $490 as secondary market prices soared. These numbers are legitimate face value prices even if they are twice the price as the sth paid

Long shot, but anybody selling 2 tickets for under $200? Iā€™ll literally buy 2 for $199 each
