It's the Rangers, they always look for a quick fix !Do they have any plan to trade away any of their current players or will they look for a quick fix this offseason?

Sharks fan coming in peace. What’s a fair package from the Sharks for K. Miller and Zibanejad looks like? Obviously there is the Grier connection, so that probably helps Drury choose to pick up the phone; and I think the Sharks have cap space and roster deficits where both players may be more valuable to the Sharks than other teams.
As a conversation starter, here is a proposal:
2025 SJS #2nd (#33OA)
Filip Bystedt (2022 #27OA)
Henry Thrun/Jack Thompson
Zibanejad ($1.5 retained)
K’Andre Miller
In the case that I’m way off (I probably am) here’s other assets I think Sharks fan’s would arguably put on the table as part of some package:
Picks:
25 DAL 1st, 25 OTT 2nd
26 EDM 1st, 26 SJS 2nd, 26 COL 2nd
Anyone not named: Celebrini, Smith, Eklund, Askarov, Dickinson, Chernyshov, Mukhamadullin
Replace “complicated” with “f***ed” and it would be a lot more accurate. After all, this is the potato running this organization:New York Rangers' Offseason Status: "It's Complicated"
Thankfully Panarin's contract runs out after next year. So that should be addition by subtraction, but sadly the Rangers have 1-1/2 forward lines and a patchwork quilt that is almost threadbare of a defense corps.Replace “complicated” with “f***ed” and it would be a lot more accurate. Teams can try. It'll be an easy match in the extremely low chance Will signs it. Especially with Kreider coming off the books when he's traded/waived/retires.I think cuylle is gonna get offer sheeted.
San Jose is a team on the rise. Why do you want to squander precious assets trading for these bums?Sharks fan coming in peace. What’s a fair package from the Sharks for K. If you're taking Zibanejad, that changes everything involving Miller being traded for what you're offering. To take a defensemen and play him next season, Rangers need to either send Urho Vaakanainen or find another home for him. They don't have room unless somebody is sent down.Sharks fan coming in peace. No complaints at all regarding either the coach or GM. Give them multi year extensions!Bring back Drury and Laviolette.
The beatings will continue until morale increases.
blow it upDo they have any plan to trade away any of their current players or will they look for a quick fix this offseason?
the players live in Connecticut anywayTriple salary isn't enough to live in manhattan
Halttunen is available?
I'm starting to hate so much Sullivan game that I would prefer to see him winning with the Rangers that keep losing with the Penguins.NYR will finally have Sullivan as their coach when they poach him away from us like the Devils tried.

This is selling low on Miller who I think would look much better with a different couch not utilizing man on man, and played well next to Fox, but the goal here would be to remove Zibanejad's cap for the next 5 years. In the end, I would probably ask for Edmonton's 1st or SJ 2nd in 2026 instead of the 2025 pick, and try to come up with something on NYR side that makes sense for SJ. Say what you want about K. Miller and his brain farts, but most mid-round picks aren't producing a player like that.
Rangers will start the 2025-2026 season with 0 retained salaries. If you toss in Zibanejad and potentially Kreider, you're using 2 of them for multi-seasons. That gotta' be careful with that.
If Rangers go into next season with 4-7 roles filled by Schneider,Thrun/Thompson/Soucy/Vaak they have a problem. With Miller gone they need an actual Dman in the top 4 and Schneider hasn't really been that yet. In the bottom role they have too many, somebody would need to be sent down or traded.I’m sorry, I don’t follow. I think your saying to defenseman as part of a package for Zibanejad + Miller doesn’t work because the Rangers wouldn’t have room for the new defenseman? I figured it Thrun/Thompson would be far cheaper roster replacements for Miller, and the Rangers can choose their preference in RD/LD. But fair enough, you would know the Rangers roster needs way better than me.
IMO, Miller’s potential is the incentive for the Sharks to take the risk Zibanejad’s contract. Since you prefer it, starting with 2026 Sharks 2nd, what do the Sharks add to get you to begrudgingly accept the trade?
Yes, he's as good as gone.Is Kreider done? Wouldn’t mind him retained as a contingency plan for getting goalied.
You got your own problems to work on, bud. Godfather Lou gave Pierre Engvall a 7-year deal with a 16 team NTC. Talk about an offer you can't refuse! No complaints at all regarding either the coach or GM. Give them multi year extensions!
Had back issues this season. Probably should have been rested and stayed away from the ice. He paced for 26 goals but the overall play significantly dropped and 50% of his assist came in the last 2 weeks... .Is Kreider done? Wouldn’t mind him retained as a contingency plan for getting goalied.
