This is kind of a hilarious talking point considering the winner of their last three meetings (2024, 2022, 2021) has gone on to the cup finals. Clearly they both still had a lot of gas in the tank
We will see. Lots of hard miles on the players of those two teams

You are entitled to your opinions, even if they are wrong.
Elaborate please. Goals against per game are 2.79 Toronto and 2.80 Ottawa with Toronto allowing the 8th most shot attempts per game. Woll has a 0.909 and 2.72 to Ullmark's 0.911 and 2.67. Stolarz better but sample size way smaller. Ottawa has a true psycho in Brady Tkachuk, who do the Leafs have, Domi?

That depends on if they are home or on the road most likely. Who do they match up against Nylander and Tavares then?

Obviously it's easier to force match-ups at home.

Could be Perron-Cozens-Batherson or Tkachuk-Stutzle-Giroux.

Zetterlund is sort of a floater who could slide into any line depending on what Green decides.

You still see coaches try to force match-ups on the road, I guess we'll see what happens.

True, but with that increased mileage I don't see where they're likely to beat the crap out of each other more than they have before, which hasn't stopped either team from going deep.

Could also argue this is the most rested TB has been entering the playoffs in a long time

You'll just have to watch and see. Seeing is believing I guess.

The Leafs have Matthew Knies

Actually every one of those kids were alive to see more playoff series wins than the leafs. Hilarious you are coming with this stuff.

You wanna know what’s really funny? The Ottawa Senators call themselves a hockey team

I do think the Leafs will get it done but I also think Ottawa is a tougher playoff team than people are giving them credit for. Knies is a BEAST but not sure he holds a candle to Brady in the psycho department. But then again not many do. We will see I guess

Have the Leafs built a shrine to Ryan O'Reilly for gifting them their one series win yet?
More like Vasilevskiy. He was uncharacteristically bad that series. Not sure if he was hurt then but did have surgery to repair a disc in his back which kept him out last year early in the season.

Why do so many people just love to parrot the same talking points over and over again?

Do people not get bored reading it?

Have an actual discussion on a hockey forum about how the series might go? Nah I'd rather just bring up playoff records over and over again and talk about what players on my team accomplished something on another team. Or talk about the playoff run my team went on almost a decade ago and none of the players on that team are on the current team, but it is still super relevant to the discussion!

There are still NHL rules, being a psycho can hurt you as much as it can help you. Misconception the whistle goes away in round 1. More accurately there are more calls in round 1 than the regular season on average per game. It is only deep in the playoffs the whistles go away for the most part.

If Brady is planning on doing what he did at 4 nations which was make a ton of noise, get in a very visible fight, but largely not do much the Leafs are fine with that.

I just can't agree the sens are tougher than the Leafs it's a laughable thing to be honest

I agree, we should all be listing all the reasons the Leafs outclass Ottawa in this series

He had 3 goals in 4 games including the final and was a +3.

That's tied with McDavid and one behind MacKinnon for the tournament lead.

Why do you make stuff up? I don't get it.

my heart would prefer to see the leafs blow it in round one

my gut says berube gets them one series win, so leafs in 7

obviously i need to see the doctor about my gut health
