Absolutely f***ing not. The Rangers have good young players, and would like to keep those. Is Will Cuylle available and if is, what's the cost from the Habs?

Why is Trouba's wife even a consideration? I mean yeah I know what he wants. But he's got a 15 team no trade clause, he can be sent anywhere else. Drury wont be jerked around again on thisI really could see a trade with the Ducks making sense. We have Fowler who could be a lateral move to shake up the roster and we can take a LOT of salary back. I'd even argue we could probably take Trouba, and there are a lot of Hospitals in CA his wife could eventually look into.
Miller to Pitt for Marcus Petterson. A good move for both teams. Pitt is most likely done tis or next year. NY needs stability on D, Petey does that. Miller was promising but not taking the next step they'd hope for.Players not available:
Braden Schnieder
Alexis Lafreniere
Will Cuylle
Adam Edstrom
Matt Rempe
Chris Kreider (one of the few that scores in the playoffs)
Zac Jones
Players available:
K’Andre Miller
Jacob Trouba
Mika Zibanejad
Artemi Panarin
Kaapo Kakko
Ryan Lindgren
Sam Carrick (2 more years of a Tanner Glass type at center)
He's one of those posters that wants multiple fighters on the team, not that Rempe is good at it.Miller to Pitt for Marcus Petterson. A good move for both teams. Kakko is almost the player you would expect but will probably be moved and blossom, which sucks
Why Rempe in the not available group? His schtick won't work anymore. Its 4-9 min a night and the juice isn't worth the squeeze. Yeah, he's a fan fav but that does not win games. should have worked on his game not his fighting with Laraques.
Cuylle and Edstrom fill that enough and have some talentHe's one of those posters that wants multiple fighters on the team, not that Rempe is good at it.

I mean, that is what happens to most coaches. Its why they are usually fired after a few years.I don't believe the fault lies with the players. The history of Laviolette shows that when he is hired, his teams play very well for the first few years. After that, his teams go flat and he gets fired.
If the NYR are willing to to part ways with the young guys, sure, they'll find takers.
He's been one of the better players on the backend, especially at not having to be pinned in his own end. I'd say no unless the offer was too good to pass up. He's still young and not hurting the cap. If they blow it up I'm sure he'd be given a bigger role. But I suppose anything is possible because I wouldn't say he's untouchable. The Canucks were apparently interested in Schneider before, but Rangers said 'no'. Has anything changed?
if you offer them mackinnon they will add zib for free.Just give the Avs Shesterkin already!
Done.Wings would take Zibby and Trouba but would need to send some cap back
Because for some reason NYR aren't allowed to trade players or it might piss off the locker room, media, and whoever else isn't happy with it. That whole situation with Trouba and Drury in the offseason had a lot of rumors. I don't think we're going to fully know what took place. Why is Trouba's wife even a consideration? I mean yeah I know what he wants. But he's got a 15 team no trade clause, he can be sent anywhere else. Drury wont be jerked around again on this
I had my doubts on what Lav would be able to do with this team after the first year. But at some point, I think you have to start blaming the players on the rink. When you go through that many coaches in a short period of time, regardless if they weren't a fit, I think you have to start looking at the team on the ice and realizing that the effort isn't there. These players can make or break a coach just as easily as a structure from a coach can be a bad fit for a teamI don't believe the fault lies with the players. The history of Laviolette shows that when he is hired, his teams play very well for the first few years. After that, his teams go flat and he gets fired.
He has a full NTC I thought? Why is Trouba's wife even a consideration? I mean yeah I know what he wants. But he's got a 15 team no trade clause, he can be sent anywhere else. Drury wont be jerked around again on this
Shesterkin for 2026 1st, prospect, and Georgiev sounds about right. Just need to wait for the rangers to fall further in the standings.Just give the Avs Shesterkin already!
No it's 15 team NTC. But if you have any team that can afford him on it, it may as well be a full NMC.He has a full NTC I thought?

The fish rots from the headAre they just on a cold streak, or is there actually something fundamentally wrong with their core?
